For this particular design project, our focus leaned towards a sense of sophistication while avoiding an overly extravagant style, which we had explored in some of our previous endeavors. The transformation of this property began during spring break, a time of the year characterized by high occupancy and premium nightly rates, but often accompanied by a challenge: an influx of guests whose treatment of our properties did not align with our standards.
Recognizing the dynamic nature of Miami's hospitality scene, we sought to pivot and attract a different clientele. Our aim was to cultivate a guest profile that would not only appreciate the property but also be mindful of its care. Despite budget constraints, we strategically invested in key areas of the house, considering how they would be captured by photographers. This calculated design approach was driven by our desire to shape the property to cater to a more discerning clientele, fostering an environment that commands respect and a fair return on investment.
