Introduction

Morinay Designs have been involved in short-term rentals for numerous years. Lots of problems can arise when you’re involved in this specific field: broken furniture, stains, theft… People can leave a big mess!
When considering short-term rental furnishings, keep these things in mind…

  • Don’t overspend on fancy furniture because it might be damaged.

    ​Think of how easy and quickly you will be able to clean it. I generally buy white linens and towels – not because I am crazy, but because it is easy to see when they become dirty.​

    ​A comfortable bed is a must. We take mattress quality very seriously, and so do our clients.

    If you have multiple properties, always buy in bulk!

We will take a look at your property, take pictures and measurements.

We will have an in-depth consultation where we will learn about your goals for the space, along with its overall style and any budget constraint.

We will present you with a mood board* that includes furniture ideas and an explanation of each choice.​

*Mood Board
The purpose of a mood board is to help you explore the ideas, styles, moods, colors, and overall feeling you want out of your newly designed space. It will help you visualize your future space in concrete detail.

We will offer you a more detailed design, including a projected budget. Once you’ve signed off on it, we will begin ordering the supplies we need for your project.

After everything has been setup, we will finalize our organization plans and begin the furnishing process.

After every piece of furniture has been set, we will prepare your place for the photoshoot. Afterward, you will receive links to all the pictures and a detailed price report of all purchases.
