Coconut Groove

The Coconut Grove House stands as one of our earliest single-family residential designs following our arrival in Miami, a testament to simplicity and elegance. This three-bedroom dwelling finds its abode in a family-oriented neighborhood, which influenced our decision to allocate a dedicated bedroom for children.
However, over time, I've learned from certain design oversights. Being utilized as a short-term rental property, the house is not always treated with the same care as one's own home. This experience has taught me valuable lessons, prompting me to reconsider certain design choices. For instance, I've come to realize the importance of avoiding high-pile carpets, as they tend to accumulate excessive hair, and delicate pendant light bulbs were frequently in need of replacement.
Every design project has its nuances and intricacies, and we must navigate within constraints such as budgets, target demographics, and time. These factors contribute to the ever-evolving and engaging nature of interior design.
